Job Overview: The Digital Paid Media Specialist will play a crucial role in the Private Sector Fundraising and Partnerships Section (PSFP) within UNICEF's Division of Private Fundraising and Partnerships (PFP). This position focuses on enhancing UNICEF's digital fundraising capabilities through performance marketing and ad operations across various paid media channels, including Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, Google, Bing, and YouTube. The consultant will be responsible for implementing a Digital Revenue Strategy aimed at maximizing revenue and driving income growth. The role involves advising on paid media campaigns, developing media plans based on historical insights, and providing consultancy on ad account management and optimization. The ultimate goal is to establish UNICEF as a leader in non-profit digital fundraising globally, increasing donations through improved digital capabilities and integrated digital channels.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Digital Paid Media Specialist will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including advising on paid media campaigns to achieve business goals across global markets, which will be determined based on specific opportunities. The consultant will analyze media performance data to develop effective media plans that include proposed budgets and estimated conversions. Additionally, the role requires sharing audit reports based on channel reviews, which will involve using third-party tools to assess the competitive landscape and provide insights on campaign structure and optimization tactics. The consultant will also be responsible for making AB test recommendations to enhance campaign performance, staying updated with trends in Meta and Google ads, and ensuring that all deliverables are met according to the specified timelines.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a first-level university degree (Bachelor's degree or higher) in relevant fields such as marketing, computer science, engineering, technology, or digital media. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in paid media performance marketing or digital fundraising is required, with proven expertise in executing paid social and paid search campaigns. The ideal candidate should demonstrate experience in managing multiple projects across various international geographies and possess strong analytical skills for data-backed reporting and optimization.
Educational Background: The educational requirement for this position includes a first-level university degree, which can be a Bachelor's degree or higher, in areas related to marketing, computer science, engineering, technology, or digital media. This educational background is essential to ensure that the candidate has the necessary knowledge and skills to perform effectively in the role.
Experience: The position requires at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the fields of paid media performance marketing, digital fundraising, or digital marketing.
