Job Overview: The coordinator" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Administrative Coordinator / Senior Administrative Coordinator position at the IMF involves providing comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to the divisional staff within the Monetary and Capital Markets Department (MCMGS). The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the Division Chief and Deputy Division Chiefs, ensuring the smooth operation of the division. This role requires a proactive approach to managing a variety of tasks, including overseeing the production of critical documents such as the Global Financial Stability Report (GFSR) and coordinating meetings and events related to the division's work. The candidate will also supervise junior coordinators and serve as a resource for technical and administrative guidance, contributing to Fund-wide administrative committees and working groups.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Administrative Coordinator / Senior Administrative Coordinator include:
Producing chapters for the Global Financial Stability Report (GFSR) and other complex documents, ensuring adherence to strict formatting requirements.
Overseeing the preparation of detailed timelines and work schedules to manage the workflow of the GFSR team effectively.
Coordinating and organizing periodic meetings with the office of the FDMD to discuss GFSR-related work progress.
Collaborating with the COM Department for the publication of GFSR chapters and organizing media launches and promotional events.
Reviewing and implementing evolving administrative processes related to the management of IMF flagship publications.
Coordinating with other MCM Divisions and IMF Departments for the revision, implementation, and publication of GFSR guidelines.
Managing the flow of review items for inter- and intra-departmental review in a timely manner.
Organizing conferences and seminars, often in collaboration with other divisions or external institutions. 1
Planning divisional retreats and team-building activities, as well as assisting new staff with their onboarding process.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess excellent organizational and administrative skills, with a proven ability to meet short deadlines, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously. The successful candidate should demonstrate initiative, resourcefulness, and the capability to work independently under pressure. Strong oral and written communication skills are essential, along with interpersonal skills that facilitate effective collaboration within a diverse team. Educational Background: The minimum educational requirement for this position is a high school diploma or equivalent. Candidates should have completed their educational development, supplemented by a minimum of six years of relevant experience. External candidates must have at least two years of experience in a lead role within the required six years of experience.

Staff members on a term appointment may receive an extension if their current term has not already been extended.
