Job Overview:
The position of Individual Consultant Digital Media & AI Design Expert is crucial for the successful implementation of the Pro PALOP TL SAI (Phase III) project in Timor-Leste. The consultant will play a key role in designing and producing high-quality visual materials that effectively communicate project objectives and outcomes. This role requires the integration of AI-driven tools to enhance audience analysis, branding, and campaign performance monitoring. The consultant will be expected to collaborate closely with project stakeholders to ensure that the digital media strategies align with the overall goals of the project. Additionally, the consultant will be responsible for developing innovative digital content that engages target audiences and promotes the project's visibility and impact.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design and produce high-quality visual materials for the Pro PALOP TL SAI project, including graphics, infographics, videos, and other digital content.
• Integrate AI-driven tools for audience analysis to tailor content and strategies effectively.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of digital campaigns, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure that digital media strategies are aligned with project objectives.
• Conduct training sessions for project staff on the use of digital media and AI tools.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in digital media and AI technologies to enhance project outcomes.
• Prepare reports on digital media activities and their impact on project visibility and engagement.

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience in digital media design and production, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Expertise in using AI tools for audience analysis and campaign performance monitoring.
• Strong understanding of branding and communication strategies in a development context.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in communications, media studies, graphic design, or a related field is required. A master's degree in a relevant discipline is preferred and may be considered an asset.

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in digital media design and production is required. Experience working with international organizations or in development projects is highly desirable. Familiarity with the context of Timor-Leste and its development challenges will be an advantage.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Tetum or Portuguese is considered an asset and will be advantageous for this position.

Additional Notes:
The contract duration for this position is approximately 150 days within a period of 7 months. This is a local recruitment position, and candidates must be residents of Timor-Leste. The role is expected to be full-time, and compensation will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
