Job Overview: The position of Chargé·e des Services Généraux is primarily responsible for ensuring the proper functioning and continuous improvement of the work environment for employees, as well as the quality of reception for visitors. Reporting hierarchically to the Logistics and General Resources Manager, the Chargé·e will oversee the management of General Services, which includes maintenance, supplies, equipment, and service providers. The role also involves supervising the reception area to guarantee a positive experience for both employees and visitors. Additionally, the Chargé·e will manage the building, ensuring safety, compliance, and comfort of the premises, while providing support and coordination to users at headquarters. The position contributes to operational efficiency and enhances the quality of life at work within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage General Services, including maintenance, supplies, equipment, and service providers.
Supervise the reception area and ensure a positive experience for employees and visitors.
Oversee the management of the building, ensuring safety, compliance, and comfort of the premises.
Provide support and coordination to users at headquarters.
Contribute to operational efficiency and enhance the quality of life at work within the organization.
Ensure that all services are delivered in a timely and efficient manner.
Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders, both internal and external.
Implement best practices in service management and continuously seek improvements.
Ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures in all aspects of service management.
Required Qualifications:
Significant training or experience in logistics, general services, or building management.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Strong service orientation, rigor, and responsiveness.
Ability to work in a team and interact with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Discretion and a strong sense of confidentiality.
Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
Educational Background: Candidates should possess a relevant degree or equivalent experience in logistics, general services, or building management. A background in humanitarian work or related fields is advantageous.
Experience: The position requires a significant level of experience in logistics or general services management, ideally within a humanitarian or non-profit context. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of managing services effectively and efficiently.
Languages: Proficiency in English is mandatory, both spoken and written. Knowledge of French is highly desirable, given the location and the nature of the organization’s work. Additional languages may be considered an asset.
Additional Notes: The position is based at the headquarters of Solidarités International in Clichy la Garenne, with potential field travel required. It is a permanent contract (CDI) with a managerial status. The gross monthly salary ranges from 2865 to 2965 euros, depending on the current salary scale at headquarters. Employees are entitled to 2.0833 days of paid leave per month and 1 day of RTT (reduction of working time) for each complete month worked. The organization provides a mutual health insurance covering 80%, meal vouchers covering 60%, and transportation costs for Île de France at 50%.
