Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position is designed to assist the Partnership & Operational Development Referents (RPDO) and the Service Manager in executing their tasks at the geographical desks and the Partnership & Operational Development Service (SPDO). The intern will provide support to Country Offices as a whole. The main objectives of the internship include gaining knowledge about the various programs and areas of expertise of Solidarités International, understanding the humanitarian and geopolitical context of the relevant areas, mastering tools related to the management of different cycles such as grants, projects, and partnerships, and ensuring effective communication and information flow between various stakeholders (desk, headquarters, field). The intern will also have the opportunity to discover the functioning of an NGO's headquarters and the relationships between headquarters and field operations, as well as the different roles within Solidarités International.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will assist the RPDO and the Service Manager with the following tasks: providing support to Country Offices in managing grants and partnerships, particularly in developing project proposals and reports for donors; assisting with administrative tasks necessary for program/grant management at the Country Offices or the PDO service; ensuring compliance and engagement with donor intelligence, including producing documents, formats, or internal capitalization notes, and participating in certain meetings; and facilitating internal coordination. The intern will also be involved in discovering the strategic planning process of an NGO and the development of its strategy, communicating directly with field operations, and deepening technical knowledge related to the sectors of intervention of Solidarités International.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a higher education degree (level bac +5) preferably focused on project management and/or humanitarian work, political science, or international relations, with knowledge of issues related to water, food security, or rehabilitation. A genuine interest and motivation for the non-profit and humanitarian sector is essential, along with a willingness to work in the field in the short term. Previous international work experience is appreciated. Candidates should have excellent writing, synthesis, and spelling skills, as well as critical thinking and analytical abilities. Autonomy, rigor, responsiveness, organization, efficiency, versatility, and a strong work ethic are also important. Proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), internet, and email (Outlook) is required. Fluency in English is mandatory.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a master's degree (bac +5) preferably in project management, humanitarian studies, political science, or international relations. Knowledge of issues related to water, food security, or rehabilitation is highly desirable.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have a level of experience that includes previous work in international settings, which is appreciated but not mandatory. The focus is on candidates who are eager to learn and contribute to the humanitarian field.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset but is not explicitly required.

Additional Notes:
This internship is based at the headquarters of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL in Clichy (92), accessible via the Mairie de Clichy metro station. The internship requires a formal internship agreement. The compensation for the internship is €5.60 per hour, calculated pro-rata based on actual hours worked in a month (approximately 154 hours per month, equating to 22 days of 7 hours each). Public transport costs are covered at 50% by SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL, and meal vouchers worth €8.90 per day of actual internship work are provided, with SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL contributing 60%.
