Job Overview:
The internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position within the Service Expertises et Qualité des Programmes (SEQP) aims to provide technical support to field teams or headquarters, assist in defining mission strategies, critically assess the quality of implemented projects, contribute to the technical development of the organization, and enhance the skills of technical teams through the development of tools and training materials. The intern will be integrated into the Operations Directorate and will work closely with various sectors within SEQP, including water, hygiene, sanitation, food security, and protection. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain in-depth understanding of the functioning of a humanitarian NGO, its constraints, and the various approaches that guide its actions. The intern will engage in a variety of tasks that will evolve based on the needs of different sectoral poles within SEQP, as well as ongoing projects at headquarters.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for supporting SEQP in researching technical and thematic information, conducting bibliographic research, and synthesizing documents related to the various sectors of SEQP. They will assist team members in capitalization processes, including translation, proofreading, correction, and dissemination of documents produced by SEQP, such as activity sheets, internal notes, and manuals. The intern will attend bi-monthly SEQP meetings and take minutes, participate in organizing events by coordinating logistics, planning team-building activities, and ensuring the smooth conduct of meetings, including writing reports. Additionally, the intern will help design and distribute the SEQP newsletter to field teams and update data/indicators on internal dashboards while monitoring the SEQP budget. The tasks are transversal, requiring autonomy, versatility, and availability, with a strong emphasis on understanding the humanitarian sector and its constraints.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess a strong interest in the sectors of water, hygiene, sanitation, agriculture, rural development, and project monitoring/evaluation. They must have good writing and synthesis skills in both French and English, with fluency in both languages being mandatory. A solid understanding of the humanitarian project cycle and a sensitivity to quality approaches in program implementation are essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate a genuine interest in the associative world and the humanitarian sector, be proactive, possess critical thinking skills, and be adaptable. They should be capable of managing multiple files simultaneously, handle stress effectively, and exhibit diplomacy and relational ease. Proficiency in Office tools and software is also required.

Educational Background:
The position requires a higher education background in humanitarian project management, political science, or international relations. A technical education or strong interest in water and sanitation or agronomy will be considered an asset. This educational foundation will equip the intern with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively contribute to the SEQP's objectives and tasks.

Experience:
While prior experience in the humanitarian sector is not explicitly required, any relevant experience or internships in related fields will be advantageous. Languages:

Additional Notes:
The internship is based at the headquarters of SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL in Clichy (92), accessible via the Mairie de Clichy metro station. The internship is subject to a mandatory internship agreement. The compensation for the internship is set at 4.90 euros per hour, calculated based on actual hours worked each month (approximately 154 hours for an average month, equating to 22 days of 7 hours each). Public transport costs will be covered at 50% by SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL, and interns will receive meal vouchers worth 8.90 euros per day worked, with SOLIDARITES INTERNATIONAL contributing 60%.
