Duties and Responsibilities: The Marketing Manager will be responsible for designing and managing acquisition experimentation workstreams, particularly focusing on A/B testing across paid media channels to optimize creatives, targeting, and messaging. The role includes analyzing performance data to identify bottlenecks and generate actionable insights, utilizing data tools and analytics platforms to track and report on performance. The Manager will recommend audience refinements and creative improvements to maximize conversion rates, partner with internal teams to inform future iterations based on test outcomes, and own the intake process and experimentation roadmap. Additionally, the Manager will track campaign performance, contribute to post-campaign reporting, and lead the execution of high-impact digital performance marketing strategies. The role also involves developing comprehensive media plans that align with business goals and regularly analyzing data to assess the effectiveness of marketing efforts.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a university degree in marketing, communication, international relations, computer science, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of experience managing Search Ads marketing campaigns is required, along with experience in managing multi-million dollar budgets. Candidates should be data-driven, detail-oriented, and have a proven track record of achieving CPA/ROAS goals in performance-driven environments. Proficiency in Meta Ads, TikTok Ads, Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics 4, and conversion tracking is essential. Familiarity with scripts, automation, and feed-based ad structures is also required, along with excellent Excel/Sheets skills for data analysis. Certifications in Google Ads or Meta are a plus.
Educational Background: A university degree in marketing, communication, international relations, computer science, or a related field is required for this position. This educational background provides the necessary foundation for understanding the complexities of marketing strategies and the technical aspects of digital advertising.
Experience: The position requires at least 5 years of experience in managing Search Ads marketing campaigns, demonstrating a strong understanding of performance marketing and the ability to handle multi-million dollar budgets effectively. Candidates should have a proven history of achieving specific marketing goals and optimizing campaigns based on data-driven insights.
Languages: Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory for this role. Additionally, intermediate knowledge of another official UN language (such as Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish) would be advantageous and is considered a plus for candidates.
Additional Notes: This position is a short-term, regular consultant role with a duration of 11 months, requiring full-time commitment from Monday to Friday. The role can be based in Berlin, Germany, or performed remotely.
