Job Overview:
The Project Officer position is designed to contribute to the national processes aimed at strengthening family farmers in Brazil, with a focus on poverty reduction and rural revitalization. The incumbent will be responsible for systematizing and analyzing current normative and legislative instruments that affect the execution of the Coopera Mais Brasil and Alimentos no Prato programs. This role requires the consolidation of innovative proposals to address the challenges faced in implementing these programs. The Project Officer will work closely with various stakeholders, including government entities and civil society, to ensure that the policies and programs are effectively aligned with the needs of family farmers and the broader community.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Project Officer include preparing a comprehensive work plan, locating and consulting relevant legislation, and presenting a detailed spreadsheet of federal standards impacting the programs. The incumbent will assist in alignment meetings with the Secretariat of Supply, Cooperativism, and Food Sovereignty (SEAB/MDA) to prepare necessary products. Additionally, the Project Officer will contribute to developing innovative solutions to address civil society's demands regarding cooperativism, solidarity economy, and food supply. The role also involves preparing technical and analytical documents related to the creation and amendment of regulations that affect Family Farming, providing support to SEAB/MDA as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in applied social sciences as per the CAPES/CNPq table of areas of knowledge. A minimum of three years of professional experience in programs, projects, or policies related to Family Farming, with a focus on Food Supply, cooperativism, and/or Solidarity Economy, is required. Additionally, candidates must have a working knowledge of both English and Portuguese, and must be either nationals of Brazil or residents with a valid work permit.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a university degree in applied social sciences. This degree should align with the CAPES/CNPq table of areas of knowledge, ensuring that candidates have a solid foundation in the relevant fields necessary for understanding and addressing the complexities of family farming and food supply issues.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of three years of professional experience specifically in programs, projects, or policies that focus on Family Farming.
