Job Overview:
The Project Coordinator position is integral to the successful implementation of the Helios+ project, which focuses on the integration of third-country nationals into the labor market in the South Aegean region of Greece. The role requires close collaboration with national and local authorities, as well as experienced partners, to ensure that beneficiaries of international protection receive the necessary support for employability, language training, and social inclusion. The Project Coordinator will oversee project activities, ensuring quality service delivery and effective communication among stakeholders. This position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt to the evolving needs of the project and its beneficiaries.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Project Coordinator will supervise and guide direct reports, develop methodologies and tools for project implementation, and monitor the quality of services provided by the project team and partners. Responsibilities include conducting physical verifications, ensuring timely reporting to senior management, and collaborating with various project components and stakeholders. The coordinator will also be responsible for data collection, maintaining project documentation, and representing the project in meetings with donors and other stakeholders. Additional duties may include drafting reports and participating in strategic planning sessions to enhance project outcomes.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a combination of relevant education and experience. A high school diploma with a minimum of four years of relevant work experience is required, or a university degree in fields such as psychology, social work, law, sociology, or public administration with at least two years of work experience. A master's degree in these fields is considered an advantage. Candidates should demonstrate strong work ethics, commitment to humanitarian principles, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a high school diploma or a university degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution. Accredited universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database. A master's degree in related fields will be viewed favorably, enhancing the candidate's qualifications for the role.

Experience:
A minimum of two years of previous work experience is required, with a preference for candidates who have experience working in multicultural environments. This experience should demonstrate the candidate's ability to manage projects effectively and work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Greek is mandatory for this position, both oral and written. Proficiency in additional languages, particularly IOM's official languages such as French and Spanish, is considered a plus. Language skills will be evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and oral assessments to ensure candidates meet the necessary communication standards.
