Job Overview: Under the supervision of the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Deputy Director of Communication, the mission will involve external communication regarding the mandate and events of Action contre la Faim to mobilize target audiences. The role requires organizing and coordinating all activities of the Mobilization and Campaigns Department, defining the annual strategy and action plan in alignment with the priorities of the Deputy Director of Communication, coordinating the implementation of projects within the Mobilization and Campaigns Department, and supporting crisis communication. The position also includes managing a Communication Officer, ensuring effective team collaboration and project execution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Organize and coordinate all activities of the Mobilization and Campaigns Department.
Define the annual strategy and action plan for the department, ensuring alignment with the overall communication priorities.
Coordinate the implementation of projects within the Mobilization and Campaigns Department, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to objectives.
Support crisis communication efforts, providing timely and accurate information to stakeholders.
Manage a Communication Officer, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure cohesive messaging and strategy across the organization.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and mobilization efforts, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
Engage with external partners and stakeholders to enhance collaboration and support for campaigns.
Prepare reports and presentations on campaign progress and outcomes for senior management and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications:
A Master’s degree in Communication from a recognized communication school or prestigious institution.
At least 6 years of experience in project management, including experience in non-governmental organizations (NGOs).
Strong understanding of citizen mobilization concepts and strategies.
Proven ability to work in an international environment, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and adaptability.
Educational Background: Candidates must hold a Master’s degree in Communication from a reputable institution, which equips them with the necessary skills and knowledge to effectively manage communication strategies and campaigns within the organization.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in project management, with a strong emphasis on experience within NGOs. Candidates should have a proven track record of successfully managing communication projects and campaigns, demonstrating their ability to lead teams and coordinate complex initiatives.
Languages: Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of additional languages would be considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to communicate effectively in diverse environments.
Additional Notes: The position is classified as a full-time permanent contract (CDI) with a salary range of €46,000 to €55,000 gross annually, depending on experience. Employees are entitled to 25 days of paid leave and 21 days of RTT (reduction of working time). Health coverage and other benefits include 80% coverage by ACF, salary maintenance during illness, maternity, and paternity leave, as well as transportation allowances covering 50% of commuting costs. Employees also receive meal vouchers with 60% coverage by the organization. Remote work is permitted from metropolitan territory, with a requirement for in-office presence two days a week and mandatory attendance for collective meetings and events up to three days per month.
