Job Overview:
The consultancy position is designed to strengthen Mercy Corps' understanding and engagement with the World Bank's funding and procurement processes. The consultant will be tasked with addressing critical questions regarding the accessibility of World Bank funding opportunities for international NGOs like Mercy Corps. This includes analyzing the standard steps and requirements for competitive bidding and procurement processes for World Bank-funded projects. The consultant will also explore key pathways for engaging with the World Bank as a potential donor, both in Washington and in regional offices, and will provide strategic recommendations to enhance Mercy Corps' preparation and positioning for specific proposal opportunities. Duties and Responsibilities:

The consultant will provide guidance on how Mercy Corps can benefit from a World Bank procurement framework agreement. 2) Providing Business Development Strategy Recommendations: The consultant will synthesize findings from the analysis into actionable recommendations for effectively identifying and securing World Bank funding.
