Job Overview: The Senior Operations Assistant position is integral to the Transport Sector Office (SD1-TRA) within the Sectors Department 1 (SD1) of ADB. This role involves providing comprehensive operational support related to project processing and administration, public communication, and analytical tasks. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing various aspects of the sector office's portfolio, including loan and technical assistance projects. The position requires a proactive approach to liaising with counterparts, preparing essential project documents, and maintaining accurate project data in ADB's systems. The Senior Operations Assistant will also contribute to knowledge management activities, ensuring high-quality communication outputs related to the transport sector. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Operations Assistant include:
Providing operational support for loan and technical assistance projects, including managing inquiries and liaising with supervisors.
Assisting in the preparation of key project documents such as the Report and Recommendation of the President (RRP) and Project Administration Manual (PAM).
Maintaining and updating project processing information in ADB's eOperations system, including project descriptions, financing plans, and monitoring obligations of executing agencies.
Supporting consultant recruitment, procurement, and contract management processes.
Contributing to the maintenance of databases related to portfolio indicators and ensuring efficient filing systems for easy retrieval of documents.
Producing high-quality content for various communication channels, including press releases and social media posts.
Assisting in the planning and execution of knowledge management activities, including preparing presentations and reports.
Coordinating with various stakeholders, including DMC participants and other ADB staff, to facilitate knowledge activities.
Supporting project missions and team management under the guidance of the director. 1

Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Senior Operations Assistant position must possess a Bachelor's degree in economics, commerce, engineering, or a related field.
