The intern will also be involved in adapting global HR messages for the local context, ensuring that all communication aligns with the branding guidelines of ECA (Economic Commission for Africa). Duties and Responsibilities: The intern's daily responsibilities will vary based on their background and skills, but will include the following key tasks:
Assist in designing and disseminating internal communications materials, including announcements, digital flyers, and updates for the intranet.
Support the promotion of events, training sessions, and HR campaigns organized by the HRMS.
Contribute to the introduction of new staff members through internal communication channels, ensuring they are welcomed and informed.
Help adapt and disseminate global HR messages tailored for ECA staff, ensuring clarity and relevance.
Ensure that all communication materials align with ECA HRMS branding guidelines to maintain a consistent organizational image.
Monitor staff engagement with communications and propose improvements based on feedback and analytics.
Research and suggest creative approaches to enhance internal communications, fostering a more connected workplace.
Assist with content formatting, simple visual design, or media creation using available tools to enhance the quality of communication materials.
Required Qualifications: Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: (a) be enrolled in, or have completed, a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); (b) be enrolled in, or have completed, the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). Additionally, a background in communication, graphic design, and content creation is desirable. While professional work experience is not required for this internship, applicants should have a field of study closely related to the internship type they are applying for. Candidates must be students in their final year of a bachelor’s degree, or enrolled in a Master’s or Ph.D. program, or have completed such programs.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this internship includes being a student in the final year of a first university degree program (bachelor's or equivalent), or being enrolled in or having completed a Master’s or Ph.D. program.
