Job Overview:
The internship-programme" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Internship Programme at FAO aims to attract talented young individuals who are motivated to contribute their new perspectives, innovative ideas, and academic experiences to the organization. Interns will have the opportunity to supplement their academic knowledge with practical work assignments in fields related to FAO's mission. This experience will allow interns to contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and FAO's Strategic Framework, supporting the 2030 Agenda through the transformation of agri-food systems to be more efficient, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable. Interns will report to an assigned supervisor and will be involved in various fields of work based on their profiles and the organization's needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will perform tasks as specified in the Terms of Reference (TOR) prepared by the hiring office. These tasks may include conducting research, assisting in project implementation, participating in meetings, and contributing to reports and presentations. Interns are expected to engage actively in their assigned roles and collaborate with team members to achieve organizational goals. They will also have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and gain insights into the workings of an international organization.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be enrolled in or have recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited institution. They should specialize in a field relevant to FAO's mission and work. A working knowledge of at least one FAO language (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, or Spanish) is required, and knowledge of a second FAO language is considered an asset. Candidates must be nationals of FAO member countries and should be aged between 21 and 3

Educational Background:
Candidates must have educational qualifications from a recognized institution, as listed in the World Higher Education Database (WHED). Experience:
