Job Overview:
The internship-programme" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Internship Programme at FAO aims to attract talented young individuals who are motivated to share their innovative ideas and academic experiences in the fields related to FAO's work. Interns will have the opportunity to supplement their academic knowledge with practical work assignments that contribute to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and FAO's Strategic Framework for the 2030 Agenda. Interns will be assigned to various fields based on their profiles and the organization's needs, and they will report to an assigned supervisor. This position is designed to provide a learning experience while contributing to the transformation of agri-food systems for better production, nutrition, environment, and life, ensuring that no one is left behind.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will perform tasks as specified in the Terms of Reference (TOR) prepared by the hiring office. Responsibilities may include conducting research, assisting in project implementation, participating in meetings, and contributing to reports and presentations. Interns are expected to engage actively in their assigned tasks and collaborate with team members to achieve organizational goals. They will also have the opportunity to learn about FAO's operations and contribute to various initiatives aimed at improving food security and agricultural practices globally.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be enrolled in or have recently graduated from an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited institution. They should specialize in a field relevant to FAO's mission and work. A working knowledge of at least one FAO language (Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, or Spanish) is required, and knowledge of a second FAO language is considered an asset. Candidates must be nationals of FAO member countries and should be aged between 21 and 3

Educational Background:
Candidates must be enrolled in or have recently graduated from a recognized educational institution, with qualifications that are acknowledged by the World Higher Education Database (WHED). Languages:
