The organization is committed to achieving three transformative results: ending preventable maternal deaths, ending unmet need for family planning, and ending gender-based violence and harmful practices. UNFPA's mission is to promote the right of every woman, man, and child to enjoy a life of health and equal opportunity, and it plays a crucial role in addressing the negative impacts of crises on women's and girls' access to sexual and reproductive health services. UNFPA emphasizes the importance of principled and ethical staff who embody international norms and standards, and who are committed to delivering high-impact results in their work.
