Job Overview:
The IT Operations Support position at WFP involves providing essential technical support and maintaining technology infrastructure to ensure that WFP staff have access to necessary equipment and services. The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the IT Operations Officer and will be responsible for managing the TEC helpdesk, providing first-line support to end users, and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues. This role also includes automating processes using low-code/no-code platforms to enhance operational efficiency. Duties and Responsibilities:
The key accountabilities for the IT Operations Support position include:
  • Maintaining technology and performing standard repairs in accordance with data security and access controls to ensure that TEC equipment is available for WFP staff.
  • Preparing equipment loan forms for inventory management and ensuring that all information is accurate and up to date.
  • Managing the TEC helpdesk in Easy Vista, providing first-line support to end users, and ensuring timely closure of support tickets.
  • Utilizing power automate and other low-code/no-code platforms to automate processes across various units, thereby improving operational efficiencies.
  • Providing network support, including the configuration of network equipment such as switches and access points, in line with WFP standards.
  • Carrying out other related tasks as assigned by supervisors, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to assist in various IT operations as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates applying for the IT Operations Support position must possess a strong technical background, with a focus on IT support and operations. Required qualifications include:
