Job Overview: The UN Volunteer position is situated within the UNHCR Field Office in Yumbe, which oversees the Bidi Bidi Refugee Settlement, one of the largest refugee settlements in Uganda and Africa. Duties and Responsibilities: The UN Volunteer will undertake various tasks, including ensuring the application of UNHCR policies in the AoR, assessing the needs of persons of concern, identifying vulnerable groups, and monitoring the implementation of refugee assistance programs.
