Job Overview:
The Dashboard App Scripts Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing data sharing and utilization within the RBM Partnership. This position focuses on the integration, cleaning, and triangulation of existing data sources into Google Sheets, as well as the development of automated processes using App Scripts. The analyst will work closely with the RBM Data Team to support data analysis and dashboard development, ensuring that the data is accessible and actionable for stakeholders. The role requires collaboration with various internal and external partners to understand data requirements and contribute to the overall functionality of the Global Malaria Dashboard, which aggregates critical malaria data to inform policy and management decisions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Dashboard App Scripts Analyst will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including: collaborating with stakeholders to understand data sources and dashboard functionality; developing App Scripts workflows for data standardization and cleaning; maintaining knowledge of Google Sheets advancements; creating standard code for future projects; optimizing systems for performance; authoring technical documentation; participating in the design of visualizations; connecting data sources to visualizations; leading investigations into appropriate tools for dashboard visuals; documenting workflows and preparing reports on best practices; and conducting ad-hoc analyses using AI/machine learning tools. Key deliverables include establishing links between data sources and visuals, developing data cleaning workflows, and preparing comprehensive reports.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with two additional years of relevant experience may be considered. Required qualifications include a minimum of two years of experience in developing App Scripts within the Google suite environment, advanced knowledge of Google spreadsheets, strong understanding of Google Apps Scripts, and proficiency in troubleshooting and creating new scripts. Familiarity with the Google suite, including Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, is essential. Desirable qualifications include experience in data cleaning and triangulation, dashboard design, and knowledge of AI and machine learning methods, as well as an understanding of malaria indicators and supply chain terminology.

Educational Background:
A Master's degree in a relevant field such as Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science is required for this position. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree in a related field may be considered if they have two additional years of relevant experience, demonstrating the importance of both formal education and practical experience in this role.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience, specifically in developing App Scripts within the Google suite environment and writing Python code. Candidates should have advanced knowledge of Google spreadsheets and a strong understanding of Google Apps Scripts, including the ability to troubleshoot and create new scripts as needed. Experience in data cleaning, dashboard development, and familiarity with AI and machine learning methods are also highly desirable.

Languages:
Full working knowledge of English is essential for this position. Additionally, a working knowledge of French, Spanish, or another official UNOPS language is considered an asset, reflecting the organization's commitment to diversity and inclusion in its workforce.

Additional Notes:
The contract type for this position is an Individual Contractor Agreement (ICA), with a contract level of ICS 9 (LICA 9 / IICA 1).
