  • Strong understanding of biodiversity finance and related concepts.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with UNDP's policies and procedures is an advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Educational Background:

Experience:
The candidate should have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience in editing, proofreading, and document preparation, particularly in the context of environmental or biodiversity-related projects. Experience working with international organizations or NGOs is preferred.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, both written and spoken. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly those relevant to the region, would be considered an asset but is not required.

Additional Notes:
This position is classified as an individual contractor role, and the assignment is expected to last for 45 working days. The consultant will work remotely but must be available for communication and collaboration with UNDP staff. The contract duration and terms will be discussed upon selection. Compensation will be based on the consultant's qualifications and experience, in accordance with UNDP's policies.
