Job Overview: The CRM Technical Product Owner (Salesforce) position is pivotal within the Corporate Information & Technology (CIT) department of IFC, which is responsible for providing business technology solutions that align with IFC’s strategic priorities and operational excellence. This role is integral to the Core Operations (CITOP) unit, which is currently undergoing a significant transformation to enhance its digital platforms. The incumbent will lead the design and implementation of scalable Salesforce solutions that support multiple business domains, ensuring that technical quality and best practices are upheld throughout the Salesforce delivery lifecycle. The position requires close collaboration with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs, contributing to the ongoing improvement and innovation of Salesforce-based solutions. The CRM Technical Product Owner will also play a critical role in shaping the technical direction of the Salesforce platform, leading architectural design, and enabling cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, reusable, and future-ready solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the CRM Technical Product Owner (Salesforce) include developing robust Salesforce applications across various clouds such as Sales, Service, Experience, and Financial Services Cloud (FSC). The role involves leading complex Salesforce implementations and integrations with enterprise systems using APIs and middleware technologies. The incumbent will define and promote Salesforce development standards, ensuring alignment with organizational policies and compliance requirements. Additionally, the role requires monitoring and optimizing system performance, troubleshooting complex issues, and ensuring high availability and reliability of Salesforce applications. The CRM Technical Product Owner will also collaborate with developers and administrators, providing technical guidance and fostering skill development within the team. Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation, including solution designs and user guides, is also a key responsibility.
Required Qualifications: To qualify for the CRM Technical Product Owner position, candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 7 years of IT experience is required, with at least 5 years specifically in Salesforce within the Financial Services industry. Candidates should demonstrate deep expertise in Salesforce architecture and development, including proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Salesforce Object Query Language (SOQL), and declarative tools.
