Job Overview:
The Logistics Team Leader position at NRC is crucial for the planning, organizing, and coordination of logistics and procurement functions to ensure the effective delivery of goods and services that support program implementation. The role requires compliance with NRC policies, guidelines, and standards, along with specific technical responsibilities for implementing support functions. The Logistics Team Leader will provide technical support and capacity building to logistics staff, monitor team activities, and ensure adherence to established standards. This position also involves implementing complex systems and procedures in line with NRC policies and managing the logistics team to ensure quality support for project implementation. The Logistics Team Leader will be responsible for maintaining accurate logistics documentation, ensuring compliance with donor and auditor requirements, and preparing timely reports for donors. Regular field visits will be necessary to conduct compliance checks and provide training as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Logistics Team Leader will have a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities, including: ensuring the NRC asset list is accurate and up-to-date at both area and field levels; overseeing logistical procedures followed by projects; checking all logistic folders and documents for compliance with NRC and donor regulations; maintaining personal location tracking and leave records; ensuring all logistic-related contracts adhere to NRC guidelines; maintaining transparency and accountability in procurement procedures; setting up Long Term Agreements (LTA) or Framework Agreements (FWA) as required; scheduling maintenance and repairs for NRC-rented premises; responding to spot checks on transactions; ensuring quality and cost efficiency in procurements; preparing and submitting logistic reports in line with donor requirements; assisting the Logistic Coordinator with reports for donors and audits; conducting regular field visits for compliance checks; analyzing logistical support data; and ensuring proper filing of logistics documents in all offices and on NRC’s cloud-based storage system.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management within humanitarian sectors. Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in logistics or supply chain management. Previous experience in complex and volatile contexts is essential, along with documented results related to humanitarian logistics management and supply chain systems. Knowledge of local private and public services networks is also required. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory. Candidates should demonstrate initiative, innovative skills, and sufficient ICT knowledge, along with strong contextual, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Organizational management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently are crucial, as are excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Educational Background:
Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in logistics or supply chain management. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in logistics and supply chain management, particularly within humanitarian sectors. Languages:
