Job Overview:
As a Basic Needs Project Manager, you will report to the Area Manager and play a crucial role in implementing the mandate and 10-year strategy of Humanity & Inclusion in Sudan. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the implementation of the project, ensuring optimal quality and impact through a delegation system with appropriate oversight mechanisms. You will collaborate with other HI managers to ensure sound management and effective functioning of the organization. This position is particularly important as HI scales up its response to the ongoing crisis in Sudan, focusing on basic needs activities such as WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">food security through cash assistance. You will also be involved in assessing other sectors and contributing to a multisectoral project in Al Jazeera State starting in July 2025.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Management: Overseeing project implementation and ensuring compliance with the logical framework and allocated budget.
• Strategy and Steering: Contributing to the strategic direction of the project and ensuring alignment with HI's overall mission.
• Operational Implementation: Leading the operational aspects of the project, including assessment, planning, and preparation.
• Project Monitoring: Ensuring effective monitoring, evaluation, accountability, and learning throughout the project lifecycle.
• Data Management: Managing project data to ensure accuracy and accessibility.
• Team Coordination: Coordinating with teams involved in the project to ensure effective collaboration and communication.
• External Communication: Contributing to external project communication to raise awareness and support for the initiative.

• The contract includes social coverage tailored to the individual's situation, such as unemployment insurance benefits for EU nationals, a pension scheme, and medical coverage with a 50% employee contribution. Repatriation insurance is provided by HI. The salary starts at 2,450 € gross per month, depending on experience, with additional benefits including a per diem of 858 € net per month while in the field, a hardship allowance of 500 € net per month, 25 days of paid leave per year, and 5 days of rest and recuperation every 8 weeks. Housing will be collective and provided by HI, with a local package available for residents of the country.
