Job Overview: The IT Operations Assistant position is crucial for delivering standard software and hardware support services within the WFP framework. Duties and Responsibilities: The IT Operations Assistant will be responsible for a variety of duties including: assisting in the installation, configuration, and customization of IT systems; deploying, operating, monitoring, and maintaining network systems; installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems and applications; configuring and installing network components; performing network maintenance and upgrades; installing and monitoring video conferencing devices; conducting system and equipment maintenance tasks; troubleshooting server systems; responding to technology queries; inspecting incoming assets and reporting discrepancies; performing basic beta testing; ensuring accurate information in inventories and databases; collating information for training documentation; following emergency response processes; and performing other related duties as assigned. This comprehensive set of responsibilities ensures that the IT operations run smoothly and effectively support the organization’s objectives.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of three years of professional experience in IT-related roles, demonstrating skills in resolving Level 1 and Level 2 IT support issues.
