Job Overview:

The intern will assist with various tasks related to communication and public engagement, including content creation for social media, production of communication products, and event preparations. Interns will also have the opportunity to attend meetings, draft summaries, and perform other necessary tasks that contribute to the overall mission of the UNIC. Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for assisting with the content and design of social media posts, conducting analysis of social media metrics, and supporting the production of communication products. This includes conducting research, compiling information, coordinating logistics, and assisting with public inquiries. The intern will also help prepare for events, high-level visitors from headquarters and field offices, and speaking engagements. Additional responsibilities include compiling, analyzing, and organizing data for office reports, attending meetings, drafting summaries, and performing other tasks as necessary to support the UNIC's objectives.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be enrolled in or have completed a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher) or be enrolled in or have completed the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent). While professional work experience is not required for applicants to the UN Internship Programme, a field of study closely related to the internship is necessary. Applicants must provide proof of their academic status and may be required to submit an official certificate at a later stage.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this internship includes being a student in the final year of a first university degree (bachelor or equivalent), or being enrolled in or having completed a Master’s or Ph.D. Programme. Experience:
