Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Associate Conduct and Discipline Officer include:
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of strategies and training programs for mission personnel on UN standards of conduct, including the Zero Tolerance Policy on sexual exploitation and abuse.
  • Coordinating and delivering mandatory training on conduct and discipline matters, including induction and refresher training, specialized trainings, and briefings for all mission personnel.
  • Developing and delivering training programs specifically tailored to various categories of personnel, including internationally and locally recruited staff, military contingents, military observers, and UN Police.
  • Establishing and promoting linkages with other offices within the mission and other UN agencies to facilitate training development and delivery.
  • Reviewing and updating guidelines, reference materials, and training tools to address all forms of misconduct by UN personnel.
  • Coordinating training activities throughout the mission area to ensure all personnel receive training upon arrival and at regular intervals.
  • Recording and managing the database for all training activities and maintaining accurate statistics.
  • Developing and maintaining a filing system for training undertaken and updating the training database daily.
  • Producing statistics of training activities and performing any other related tasks as required.
