Duties and Responsibilities: The Nutricionista brigadas will be responsible for assigning roles to team members, supervising the quality of care provided, and coordinating with local authorities and MSPAS personnel to ensure compliance with activities. Required Qualifications: To qualify as a defender of every child, candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition (required) and a Master's degree in Food and Nutrition (desirable). A 20-hour breastfeeding course is also desirable, with the requirement to complete it before starting activities if not already obtained. Candidates should have experience in nutrition and health brigades, nutritional assessment in children under five (indispensable), and community-level nutritional education (desirable). Experience in emergency nutrition, food security, and community work is also preferred, along with knowledge of participatory methodologies for nutritional education and familiarity with MSPAS health service networks and official registration instruments.
Educational Background: Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition as a minimum educational requirement. A Master's degree in Food and Nutrition is considered an asset. Additionally, completion of a 20-hour course on breastfeeding is desirable, and candidates without this certification must commit to completing it before commencing their duties.
Experience: Candidates should have substantial experience in nutrition and health brigades, particularly in conducting nutritional assessments for children under five years old. Experience in community education regarding nutrition and food security is also desirable, along with familiarity with emergency nutrition interventions and community-level work addressing acute malnutrition.
