Job Overview:
The analyst" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Assistant Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting Bankers with the preparation and monitoring of various projects. This position involves addressing client requests, assisting the Operation Leader in tracking project implementation, and ensuring effective disbursement performance. The Assistant Analyst is also responsible for the preparation of pipeline and portfolio reports, which are essential for the bank's operations. The role requires constant communication with clients and various departments within the bank, making it vital for the Assistant Analyst to maintain strong relationships and provide timely updates on project statuses. Additionally, the Assistant Analyst will assist in the development of documents for Technical Cooperation (TC) projects and prepare briefing information for senior staff, thereby contributing to the overall success of the bank's initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Assistant Analyst's duties include assisting in project processing and monitoring by preparing monitoring reports, tracking clients' financial and project reporting, and ensuring compliance with client covenants. The role also involves preparing project-related materials, maintaining Deal Tracking Module entries, and assisting with Project Monitoring Report preparation and due diligence. The Assistant Analyst will liaise with clients and bank units regarding disbursement applications and other necessary documentation to coordinate the disbursement process effectively. Furthermore, the Assistant Analyst will conduct project and sector data searches to create informative slides and provide necessary information for project preparation and business development. This position also entails developing documentation for TC projects, including drafting Terms of References, budgets, and Technical Cooperation Reports. The Assistant Analyst will support marketing research efforts, attend client meetings, and participate in marketing trips alongside bankers when necessary. Additionally, the Assistant Analyst will keep in touch with Operation Leaders to provide portfolio and pipeline reports to management and maintain an updated database of sector presentations. Lastly, the Assistant Analyst will assist the Head of Office with selected non-banking related matters, such as organizing team events and retreats.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Assistant Analyst position should possess a strong set of skills, including fluency in both English and Arabic, with excellent written and spoken communication abilities. The ideal candidate should have a good sense of priorities, the ability to work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines. Attention to detail is crucial, as is the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Strong organizational skills and the capacity to work with precision and accuracy are also essential. This position is a short-term contract lasting 12 months. The EBRD promotes a flexible working environment, expecting employees to attend the office 50% of their working time.
