Job Overview: The Head of EXD/CSI will be a senior leader responsible for overseeing the Conference, security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security and Infrastructure Service within the OECD's Executive Directorate. This role involves leading a team of approximately 175 professionals and managing a multi-million Euro budget. The successful candidate will be expected to drive excellence in service delivery across various domains, including language services, conference management, physical security, and asset management. The position requires a strategic thinker with strong communication skills, political acumen, and a commitment to operational excellence and sustainability. The Head of EXD/CSI will work closely with the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Executive Director and other senior management to implement the Organisation’s Programme of Work and Budget, ensuring that the services provided are responsive, resilient, and resourceful in a complex environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide strategic direction and leadership for the effective delivery of conference, security, and infrastructure services.
Design and implement a proactive approach to facilities management, including a physical asset management plan and investment strategy focused on sustainability.
Support crisis preparedness and continuity planning across facilities and security services.
Deliver client-focused services through clear KPIs and performance tracking, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Manage a diverse team, exemplifying the values of the Organisation and ensuring financial sustainability through resource allocation and cost recovery initiatives.
Develop relationships with Member States and act as a liaison to translate their priorities into actionable plans.
Represent the Service and the Organisation in various forums, aligning services with strategic objectives.
A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in corporate services, operations, and facilities management.
Proven financial acumen and operational oversight, with skills in budget management and risk mitigation.
Strong communication and diplomacy skills to engage with high-level stakeholders.
Ability to empower diverse teams and drive collaboration in an inclusive workplace.
Strategic clarity and execution capabilities, bridging vision and implementation effectively.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess an advanced university degree in a relevant discipline such as Project Management, Business Administration, or Engineering. A Master of Business Administration (MBA) is preferred, indicating a higher level of expertise in business management and operations.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 10 years of proven senior leadership experience in corporate services, operations, and facilities management. Candidates should demonstrate a strong track record in managing complex operations and leading diverse teams, with a focus on delivering high-quality services and achieving strategic objectives.
Languages: Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages (English and French) is mandatory, along with knowledge of the other language to a good working level. Knowledge of additional languages is considered an asset, enhancing communication capabilities within the international context of the OECD.
Additional Notes: This position is a three-year fixed-term appointment with the possibility of renewal. The monthly salary starts at EUR 14,027.14, plus allowances based on eligibility, and is exempt from French income tax.
