Job Overview:
The Emergency Physical and Functional Rehabilitation Manager will play a crucial role within the Emergency Department, which consists of 16 members divided into two teams. This position is part of the team responsible for emergency response, which is prepared to deploy within 72 hours following a humanitarian crisis. The manager will report to the Emergency Pool Manager and work closely with Physical and Functional Rehabilitation Specialists at headquarters. The primary responsibilities include participating in initial assessments of emergency response operations, leading the deployment of rehabilitation operations, and ensuring compliance with Humanity & Inclusion's standards and donor requirements. The role also involves developing project management tools, monitoring the quality of interventions, and representing the organization in various coordination mechanisms related to emergency rehabilitation.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Emergency Physical and Functional Rehabilitation Manager will be responsible for several key tasks: 1) Participating in the initial diagnosis of emergency response operations, contributing to strategy definition, needs assessments, and project proposal drafting. 2) Leading and coordinating the deployment of rehabilitation operations, defining operational frameworks, and supporting integrated approaches with other emergency managers. 3) Managing the project team, including recruitment, performance evaluation, and ensuring compliance with regulations. 4) Monitoring and evaluating the quality of actions, drafting reports, and providing coaching or training to project managers. 5) Representing Humanity & Inclusion's emergency response mandate and participating in advocacy efforts. 6) Contributing to institutional capitalisation and the development of methodologies and training tools for emergency response.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a degree in physiotherapy or occupational therapy, along with additional training in project management and humanitarian operations. A good understanding of emergency donor regulations and processes is essential. Proficiency in English and French is mandatory, while knowledge of Spanish or Arabic is considered an asset. Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Office, are also required.

Educational Background:
The position requires a degree in physiotherapy or occupational therapy. Additional training in project management and development or humanitarian operations is preferred, especially in the context of international humanitarian action.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least three years of experience in physical and functional rehabilitation within an emergency setting. A minimum of two years of proven experience in a managerial or coordinator role in this field is also required. Additional experience in mental health and psychosocial-support" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">psychosocial support (MHPSS) and inclusion sectors is advantageous, particularly in developing intervention frameworks for emergency rehabilitation.

Languages:
Fluency in English and French is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of Spanish or Arabic is considered a valuable asset, enhancing communication capabilities in diverse contexts.
