Job Overview: The Country Support Manager (CSM) for Global Diagnostics will play a pivotal role in supporting market shaping activities across various disease areas, including HIV, tuberculosis (TB), and maternal and child health (MNCH). This position involves driving analytical work to design and implement strategies that secure the supply of essential diagnostics for low- and middle-income countries (LMICs) at affordable prices. The CSM will be responsible for collecting and analyzing data from multiple sources, developing market analyses, and communicating strategic recommendations to stakeholders. The role requires a highly motivated individual with strong analytical capabilities, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. The CSM will work independently on projects, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve market access goals.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage the development of databases, analyses, and frameworks to identify and prioritize market-shaping interventions.
Analyze market trends and develop demand forecasts and uptake models for new and existing commodities and services.
Prepare presentations, reports, and analyses to inform global policy and increase the evidence base for high-impact interventions.
Present findings of analyses to internal and external audiences.
Develop productive relationships with internal and external partners to assess market dynamics and build consensus around key analyses or strategic recommendations.
Collaborate with CHAI country and global teams to evaluate potential market-shaping interventions.
Create clear communication materials based on analyses tailored to different audiences.
Effectively communicate findings and strategic recommendations to a broad range of audiences.
Execute other responsibilities as needed by the team.
Required Qualifications:
Advanced degree in Business, Economics, Public Health, or related disciplines.
Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in a private or public sector setting with increasing levels of responsibility.
Ability to navigate complex governmental and organizational processes and influence decision-making collaboratively.
Advanced problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills, with significant experience in Excel and PowerPoint.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently on complex projects in a fast-paced environment.
Strategically minded with creative thinking around long-term program objectives.
Exceptional diplomatic and interpersonal skills to build strong professional relationships in a multicultural environment.
