Job Overview: The Senior Business Support Associate will play a crucial role in the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Country Director's office by coordinating all external engagements, managing events, and providing comprehensive support services to ensure the effective functioning of the office. The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing logistics, travel arrangements, and business management, while also supervising support staff and facilitating their professional development. This position requires a proactive approach to monitor and adapt existing procedures, ensuring that the office meets evolving business needs. The Senior Business Support Associate will also manage internal and external communications, prepare reports and documentation, and handle complex correspondence, ensuring that priorities are identified and addressed in a timely manner. Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate all external engagements at the Country Director's office, including travel, logistics, and business management.
Manage and organize all events and related protocol arrangements for the Country Director's office.
Provide a full range of support services to functional units, including follow-up actions and resolution of issues.
Supervise and support the work of other support staff, ensuring they are knowledgeable about systems and procedures.
Regularly monitor and adapt existing procedures, collaborating with stakeholders to meet business needs.
Manage office communications, acting as an escalation point for complex queries.
Prepare and consolidate reports, documentation, and correspondence, conducting research as needed.

Required Qualifications: The ideal candidate must have completed secondary school education, with a post-secondary certificate in a related functional area. They should possess seven or more years of progressively responsible work experience in the relevant business stream, particularly in general administrative work. The candidate must demonstrate in-depth knowledge of common business principles and processes, practical business support methods, and systems used in the area of work, which can be gained through specialized training and work experience. Excellent communication skills are essential for collaborating with a wide range of individuals and providing comprehensive support services. The ability to analyze financial data, monitor budgets, and carry out complex data analysis for process improvements is also required. Experience in supervising and training others, as well as coordinating resources, is necessary, along with a high sense of confidentiality and knowledge of travel and logistics management being desirable.
