Job Overview: The Human Resources and AdministrationTeam Lead will be responsible for implementing protection-related activities in Maiduguri. This includes protection case management, individual protection assistance, referrals, and engaging with partners, communities, and stakeholders. The role requires a proactive approach to support the protection portfolio according to the established plan of action. The successful candidate will work independently on protection monitoring activities and will be responsible for organizing and delivering tasks in line with international standards and NRC guidelines. The position demands a strong understanding of protection issues to effectively support the team and prepare status reports as required by management. The candidate will also ensure proper documentation and promote technical improvements within the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Human Resources and Administration Team Lead include building and maintaining trust relationships with target communities, conducting community-level protection needs assessments, and monitoring to identify threats to safety and well-being. The candidate will contribute to the identification and referral of individuals with specific needs, focusing on vulnerable groups such as children, youth, and women. They will support the development of awareness materials on protection issues and raise awareness among beneficiaries and stakeholders. Collaboration with the Case Management Officer and Protection Team is essential for conducting assessments and preparing intervention plans.
