The position of Directrice ou Directeur Pays involves overseeing all operations within Burkina Faso, ensuring that the organization's mission is effectively implemented. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of the organization's operations in Burkina Faso, ensuring alignment with the overall mission and strategic goals.
• Develop and implement country-specific strategies and programs that address the needs of the local population.
• Oversee financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting to ensure the sustainability of programs.
• Build and maintain relationships with government officials, NGOs, and other stakeholders to promote collaboration and support for the organization's initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and regulations, as well as adherence to the organization's policies and procedures.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as necessary to improve outcomes.
• Represent the organization at national and international forums, advocating for the needs of the communities served.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess strong leadership skills, with a proven track record in managing teams and projects in a complex environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to navigate cultural differences. Candidates should demonstrate strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, as well as a commitment to the organization's mission and values.

Educational Background:
A master's degree in international development, public administration, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in project management or humanitarian response are advantageous.

Experience:
A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a leadership role within the humanitarian or development sector is required. Experience working in Burkina Faso or similar contexts is highly desirable, along with a strong understanding of local challenges and opportunities.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, as it is the official language of Burkina Faso. Proficiency in English is highly desirable, and knowledge of local languages would be an asset.
