Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Online Volunteer include:
Selecting high-impact content from an existing repository for external dissemination.
Identifying and researching suitable media platforms and advocacy channels that align with strategic outreach goals.
Drafting outreach messages and adapting content for different audiences to maximize impact.
Supporting the development of an 'Amplify UN Women Jordan' toolkit, which will include sample messages, media lists, and visuals to aid in future communication efforts.
Collaborating with other volunteers and team members to ensure cohesive messaging and effective outreach strategies.
Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of communication efforts and providing feedback for continuous improvement.
Engaging with various stakeholders to promote UN Women’s initiatives and gather insights for future campaigns.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Online Volunteer position should possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt messages for diverse audiences. Familiarity with media platforms and advocacy channels is essential, as is a passion for gender equality and women's empowerment. Volunteers should demonstrate creativity in content creation and have the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
