Job Overview:
The Online Volunteer position is designed for individuals who are passionate about sustainable development and are eager to contribute to raising awareness about the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Volunteers will be responsible for producing engaging content that informs and engages readers on various aspects of the SDGs. This role requires a commitment to staying updated on the latest developments, trends, and challenges related to the SDGs, as well as the ability to conduct thorough research and analysis. Volunteers will identify newsworthy stories, success stories, and initiatives that highlight progress and challenges related to the SDGs. The content created will be suitable for publication on various social media platforms, including YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Volunteers will also engage with the audience through comments and social media, representing the Universal Versatile Society according to established guidelines. This position requires adherence to strict deadlines, as selected volunteers will work on a weekly basis to produce and publish content.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Research and Analysis: Stay informed about the latest developments, trends, and challenges related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Conduct thorough research on specific goals or topics and analyze relevant data and reports to gather accurate information.
• Finding Stories: Identify newsworthy stories, success stories, case studies, and initiatives that highlight progress, innovations, and challenges related to the SDGs. Explore local, national, and international sources to uncover impactful stories.
• Content Creation: Based on research and analysis, create high-quality content suitable for publication on social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Consider whether the content requires voiceover, on-screen appearance, or video editing.
• Publishing Content: Upload content weekly on designated social media channels, with admin access provided.
• Audience Engagement: Communicate with readers via comments and social media on behalf of Universal Versatile Society, adhering to guidelines.
• Weekly Task Management: Collect the top 7 trending stories of the week from UN News sources to share with the content creation team, which includes anchoring, interviews, field reporting, and video editing. All selected online volunteers are required to follow deadlines strictly and collaborate effectively on the tasks assigned.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from various sources.
