Job Overview:
The position of Change Management and Business Innovation Case Team Leader at WFP is a remote role focused on leading strategic efficiency and financial transformation projects. The consultant will manage various workstreams, support executive priorities, and deliver data-driven solutions across WFP and other UN entities. This role is crucial as WFP has faced unprecedented levels of emergencies, necessitating innovative approaches to ensure resources are effectively channeled to those in need. The Change Management and Business Innovation Unit, established in 2015, aims to manage change and promote innovation within WFP and provides support to other UN entities through the UN Advisory Alliance. The unit has successfully executed over 130 projects across 15 different UN entities, showcasing its capabilities in efficiency improvement, strategy development, and data analytics. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development and implementation of initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and analysis" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">financial analysis within the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Change Management and Business Innovation Case Team Leader will be responsible for executing Business Innovation projects that enhance operational efficiency and financial transformation within WFP's Country Offices. Key responsibilities include driving the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency, conducting financial analyses, assessing current resource utilization, and identifying opportunities for optimization. The role involves reviewing external spending, evaluating financial patterns, and presenting comprehensive diagnostics on financial viability. The leader will also support Division Managers in prioritizing key corporate initiatives, participate in discussions to align objectives and timelines, provide analytical and project management support, and assist in knowledge management and best practices sharing. Additional responsibilities may arise based on divisional needs and current corporate priorities.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a degree in business, economics, or engineering, with a preference for those with advanced qualifications. A minimum of 4-5 years of progressively responsible experience in business or international relations is required, particularly in change management, management consulting, or finance. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong analytical abilities, both quantitative and qualitative, and have experience in optimization processes across various domains such as strategic planning, logistics, and finance. A collaborative spirit and the ability to liaise effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels are essential, along with strong time management skills and the ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a degree in business, economics, or engineering. Candidates with advanced degrees or specialized training in relevant fields will be given preference, as these qualifications are essential for understanding the complexities of business innovation and change management within a large humanitarian organization.

Experience:
The position requires 4-5 years of relevant experience in a business or international relations context, with a strong emphasis on change management, management consulting, or finance. Candidates should have a proven track record of progressively responsible roles that demonstrate their ability to manage projects, analyze data, and implement innovative solutions. Additional experience in related fields will be considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's suitability for the role.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of French is strongly desirable, as it will facilitate communication within the diverse linguistic environment of the UN and enhance collaboration with French-speaking stakeholders.
