Job Overview: The Investment Analyst position within the Manufacturing, Agribusiness and Services sector team at IFC is designed for individuals who are eager to work closely with Investment Officers. Duties and Responsibilities: The Investment Analyst will be responsible for a variety of tasks that are essential to the success of investment or advisory transactions. The analyst must demonstrate proficiency in financial statement analysis, accounting, finance, financial modeling, discounted cash flow (DCF) analysis, and comparable company analysis to support informed decision-making. Additionally, the analyst will conduct market and industry research, demonstrate attention to detail, and perform thoughtful scenario analysis. The role requires the ability to analyze and synthesize debt pricing benchmarks and equity trading comparables, as well as a basic understanding of how investments impact economic, market, and social development. The analyst will identify data collection needs, coordinate with clients to obtain necessary information, and demonstrate active listening skills to identify client and stakeholder needs. Furthermore, the analyst will distill and summarize large amounts of information to prepare business documents and presentations, write logically and concisely, and utilize graphics and tables to present data effectively. Lastly, the analyst will extract lessons from IFC's earlier investments to provide input for structuring straightforward transactions.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification.
