Job Overview:
The position of Online Volunteer for Video Development is integral to the People and Culture Group (PCG) at UNOPS. This role focuses on creating engaging video content that fosters a culture of learning and knowledge-sharing within the organization. The volunteer will contribute to the development of monthly videos that will be part of a global onboarding learning package. The videos are designed to enhance the learning experience for HR practitioners and other personnel, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary knowledge to navigate their roles effectively. The volunteer will utilize various software tools to create visually appealing content that resonates with a diverse audience, thereby enriching the overall learning experience.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Online Volunteer include designing visually engaging video content that appeals to a wide range of audiences. This involves using tools such as Visla, Powtoon, or similar software to create enriching learning experiences. The volunteer will also be responsible for streamlining the translation of video content and subtitles into French and Spanish, ensuring accessibility for a broader audience. Additionally, the volunteer will design training materials with a strong emphasis on user experience and develop a consistent visual identity for all training materials, potentially creating comprehensive branding guidelines. The expectation is to produce one video of 5-6 minutes each month, with the possibility of producing two videos depending on the topics covered.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for this position should possess strong creative skills and a good understanding of video production and design principles. Familiarity with video editing software and graphic design tools is essential. The ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members is also crucial. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate a commitment to the values and mission of UNOPS, particularly in promoting learning and knowledge-sharing within the organization.

Educational Background:
A background in communications, multimedia design, graphic design, or a related field is preferred. Candidates should have relevant coursework or training that demonstrates their ability to create engaging visual content and understand the principles of effective communication through video.

Experience:
While prior experience in video production or graphic design is beneficial, it is not strictly required. However, candidates should be able to showcase a portfolio of previous work or projects that highlight their skills in creating engaging video content. Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, as it is the primary language of communication within UNOPS. Proficiency in French and Spanish is highly desirable, as the role involves translating video content and subtitles into these languages, enhancing accessibility for a wider audience.
