Interns will work under the direct supervision of the Program Manager at the Beijing Office. The role is primarily focused on data collection and analysis, as well as the development of visual materials to communicate findings effectively. Interns will engage in various tasks that may include gathering and sorting data from Regional Support Offices (RSOs), preparing infographics and multimedia content, and assisting in document formatting and proofreading. This internship is unpaid and requires a commitment of five days a week, totaling 40 hours. The position is remote, allowing for flexibility in work location while contributing to significant projects within the UN framework.
Duties and Responsibilities: Interns will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: assisting in the collection and analysis of data or survey responses from RSOs; preparing visual materials such as infographics, charts, and graphs to illustrate findings; formatting and proofreading documents including reports and brochures; supporting communication with stakeholders through email and online platforms; conducting ad hoc research and content development; and providing assistance in formatting documents such as information notes, agendas, and brochures. Interns may also be required to perform other tasks as necessary to support the team and the overall objectives of the UN-SPIDER program.

Knowledge of an additional official UN language, such as Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish, is considered an advantage and may enhance the candidate's application.
