Job Overview: The Technical Project Coordinator will play a pivotal role in overseeing the implementation, optimization, and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security enhancement of the 'Ada’a' Performance Management System. This position requires a strong focus on project coordination, ensuring that technical, operational, and strategic goals are aligned. The coordinator will facilitate effective communication between various teams and stakeholders, ensuring that project milestones are met in a timely manner. The role also involves significant stakeholder engagement, risk management, and quality assurance to guarantee a seamless and user-friendly experience with the system. The coordinator will be responsible for developing comprehensive project plans, conducting regular progress assessments, and ensuring that all deliverables are met according to the established timelines. This position is crucial for the successful deployment of the system and for enhancing the overall performance management capabilities of the organization.
Duties and Responsibilities: The Technical Project Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: organizing and leading a kick-off meeting to document key discussions, objectives, and action points; creating a detailed project plan that outlines tasks, milestones, dependencies, and risk mitigation strategies; preparing bi-weekly progress reports to track project status, risks, bottlenecks, and corrective actions; developing a stakeholder communication plan to ensure effective engagement and information flow; maintaining a change management and escalation log throughout the project lifecycle; documenting system implementation and testing results; conducting a security and compliance assessment of the system; developing user training materials, including comprehensive training modules and user guides; summarizing training sessions and participant feedback; analyzing user adoption and feedback; and preparing a final monitoring and evaluation report that reviews project performance and key achievements. The coordinator will also be responsible for regular reporting to UNFPA and the Department of Statistics (DoS) and will work closely with the project director and CTO to ensure project health and risk management.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess experience in IT project coordination, implementation, and stakeholder management. A strong understanding of agile methodologies, IT security, and cloud-based solutions is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and managing large-scale system rollouts. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills are required to effectively manage the complexities of the project and ensure successful outcomes.
Educational Background: The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience with a Master’s degree, or 4 years with a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, IT, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field. This educational background is crucial for understanding the technical and managerial aspects of the project and for effectively coordinating the various elements involved in the implementation of the performance management system.
Experience: Candidates should have substantial experience in IT project coordination, with a focus on implementation and stakeholder management. This experience should include familiarity with agile methodologies and a strong understanding of IT security and cloud-based solutions. Languages: Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory for this position. Additional Notes: The contract duration for this position is 4 months, and the consultant will be expected to deliver services at the Department of Statistics in Jordan. All deliverables will be submitted electronically in Word format, and progress will be regularly presented to the management team. The consultant must adhere to strict confidentiality regarding all proprietary information related to the 'Ada’a' system and operations. Any disclosure of information requires prior written approval.
