Job Overview:
This internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position is based in the United Nations Resident Coordinator Office (RCO) in Thailand, which plays a crucial role in supporting the country’s development priorities and the attainment of the SDGs. The intern will work full-time for a duration of 2 to 6 months, gaining valuable experience in public outreach, digital communications, and advocacy. The role involves curating and managing UN Thailand's digital assets library, capturing high-quality photographic content at UN events, and collaborating with various UN agencies to develop innovative storytelling approaches. The intern will report to the RCO Head of Office and will be integral to enhancing the visibility and engagement of UN activities in Thailand.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will have several key responsibilities, including: 1) Curating UN Thailand's Digital Assets Library by maintaining oversight of the digital library, processing new photos for upload, and optimizing captions and keywords for SEO. 2) Providing coverage of UN Thailand events by capturing key moments and professional photos of the leadership team. 3) Coordinating with UN agencies for creative development and photo curation, including compiling visual assets for the UN 80th anniversary communications campaign. The intern will also assist in planning and executing strategies to grow the UN Thailand YouTube channel and ensure optimal reach across digital platforms.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this internship, applicants must be enrolled in or have completed a graduate program or the final year of a bachelor’s degree. A demonstrated interest in the work of the United Nations and a commitment to its ideals are essential. Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite is required, along with basic knowledge of social media platforms. The candidate should possess a keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.

Educational Background:
Candidates must have completed or be enrolled in a graduate program or the final year of a bachelor’s degree. This educational background is essential to ensure that the intern has the necessary skills and knowledge to contribute effectively to the UN's mission and activities.

Experience:
While specific prior experience is not mandated, a demonstrated interest in the work of the United Nations and relevant skills in photography, digital asset management, and communications are highly beneficial. The internship is designed to provide practical experience, so candidates with some background in these areas will be better positioned to succeed.

Languages:
Fluency in English is required, encompassing all four skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Knowledge of French is also beneficial, as it is one of the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
