The Financial Analyst position at the World Bank involves a critical role within the Treasury sector, specifically in the Treasury Operations department. Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Financial Analyst include performing post-execution activities for various financial products, including fixed income securities and derivatives. The analyst will manage daily and monthly collateral management tasks, ensuring the settlement of a large volume of transactions and resolving any discrepancies that arise. The role requires close collaboration with traders and colleagues across multiple departments, as well as external partners such as custodians and agents. Additionally, the analyst will assist in developing and implementing compliance measures for Treasury procedures and contribute to training initiatives aimed at enhancing client knowledge. The position may involve reassignment to different teams based on business needs, and candidates must be prepared to work on-site in Sofia, with a requirement to overlap with EST hours for project deadlines.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Accounting, or a related business discipline, along with at least four years of relevant experience. Professional certifications such as CFA are advantageous. Strong analytical skills, particularly in quantitative and qualitative analysis, are essential, along with proficiency in Excel. Familiarity with IT development projects and FinTech knowledge is a plus. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to multi-task effectively, manage multiple transactions under tight deadlines, and possess a solid understanding of Treasury systems and tools such as AI, Python, and Microsoft applications.

Educational Background:
A degree in Finance, Data Analytics, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required for this position. Candidates with advanced degrees or professional certifications, such as a CFA, will be viewed favorably. The educational background should provide a strong foundation in financial principles and analytical techniques, equipping candidates with the necessary skills to perform effectively in the role.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of four years of relevant experience in finance or a related field. Candidates should have a proven track record of working in environments that demand high levels of analytical skills and the ability to manage complex financial transactions. Experience in Treasury operations or similar roles will be particularly beneficial, as will exposure to financial markets and instruments.

Languages:
