Job Overview: The Enterprise Collaboration Tools Administrator will play a crucial role in shaping the future of enterprise collaboration by managing and optimizing tools such as Jira and Confluence. This position involves the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of these tools to enhance collaboration across the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing workflows, governance frameworks, and integrating these tools with other enterprise systems like ServiceNow and CI/CD pipelines. The role requires a strong focus on automation, scripting, and data migration to ensure that teams can work efficiently and securely. Duties and Responsibilities:
Administer, configure, and optimize Jira and Confluence for enterprise collaboration.
Design and implement workflows, templates, permission models, and governance frameworks.
Integrate collaboration tools with identity management systems, ServiceNow, CI/CD pipelines, and observability tools.
Develop scripts for tool management, user provisioning, and reporting using languages such as Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
Manage data migration projects and spaces across different instances.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and perform performance tuning of tooling environments.
Support the adoption of best practices for tool usage, documentation, and process automation.
Ensure compliance with organizational security, data protection, and audit requirements.
Collaborate with end users and engineering teams to drive tool adoption and usage.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in implementing, configuring, managing, and supporting enterprise collaboration tools, specifically Jira and Confluence.
Expertise in workflow design, automation, templating, and governance within collaboration platforms.
Familiarity with integrating Atlassian tools into broader enterprise systems such as ServiceNow and CI/CD.
Strong scripting skills for tool management and reporting.
Experience in data migration across instances.
Ability to monitor and troubleshoot tooling environments effectively.
Strong communication skills for user support and technical enablement.
Relevant certifications such as Atlassian Certified, ITIL Foundation, or SAFe are advantageous.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is typically required for this position. Advanced degrees or specialized training in enterprise collaboration tools or project management may be beneficial and enhance a candidate's qualifications.
Experience: Candidates should have substantial experience in managing enterprise collaboration tools, ideally with a focus on Jira and Confluence. Experience in a similar role within a large organization or financial institution is preferred, with a demonstrated ability to handle complex integrations and optimizations.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory, as it is the primary language of communication within the organization. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset, particularly those relevant to the EBRD member countries.
Additional Notes: This position is a full-time role with a short-term contract lasting 12 months. The EBRD promotes flexible working arrangements and encourages collaboration in person at least three days a week.
