Duties and Responsibilities: Interns will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including but not limited to: conducting research on road safety and sustainable transport; identifying and collecting relevant information from various sources; preparing case studies and background materials for meetings; analyzing and compiling data into reports; creating infographics and communication materials for advocacy; preparing presentations on findings; and coordinating with Transport Division staff to identify key issues. Additionally, interns may assist with day-to-day tasks and support project preparations, gaining insight into the administrative functions of the UN.
Required Qualifications: To qualify for this internship, applicants must meet specific educational requirements. Candidates should either be enrolled in or have completed a graduate program (second university degree or equivalent) or be in the final academic year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor’s level).
