Job Overview: The Support Audit Externe position is situated within the External Audit Service (SAE) of the Accountability and Partnership Development Directorate (RDP). Reporting to the Head of External Audits, the primary objectives of this role include active participation in the anticipation, planning, and monitoring of financial and organizational audits conducted by the organization's funding partners. The role also involves managing the complete cycle of financial and organizational audits at the headquarters of Solidarités International. Additionally, the position provides technical and operational support for audits conducted at the mission level. The Support Audit Externe will assist in the collection and verification of supporting documents necessary for managing external audits, ensuring compliance and accuracy throughout the audit process.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Actively participate in the anticipation, planning, and monitoring of financial and organizational audits initiated by funding partners.
Manage the complete cycle of financial and organizational audits conducted at the headquarters of Solidarités International.
Provide technical and operational support for audits conducted at the mission level.
Assist in the collection and verification of supporting documents required for external audits.
Collaborate with the Head of External Audits to ensure that all audits are conducted in accordance with established guidelines and standards.
Maintain clear communication with relevant stakeholders throughout the audit process.
Prepare reports and documentation related to audit findings and recommendations.
Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures during the audit process.
Participate in training and capacity-building initiatives related to audit practices and procedures.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounting, Finance, or Audit (internal and/or external).
Experience in humanitarian fieldwork, particularly in support functions, is a plus.
Knowledge of institutional donor procedures and requirements.
Proficiency in SAGA, HOMERE, and NAVISION software is desirable.
Excellent command of Excel and its functionalities.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural environment.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Educational Background: A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is required. Additional certifications in auditing or finance would be advantageous.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 1 year of professional experience in the fields of Accounting, Finance, or Audit. Experience in the humanitarian sector, particularly in support roles, is considered an asset. Familiarity with audit processes and procedures is essential for this position.
Languages: Fluency in French and English is mandatory. Proficiency in Spanish is considered a plus, enhancing the candidate's ability to communicate in diverse environments and with various stakeholders.
Additional Notes: The position is based at the headquarters of Solidarités International in Clichy la Garenne, accessible via Metro Mairie de Clichy. The contract is a short-term contract lasting 2.5 months, with a gross monthly salary ranging from €2,865 to €2,985, depending on the applicable salary scale at headquarters. There is an option for remote work, allowing for 4 to 12 days of telecommuting per month, in accordance with the current telework charter and manager approval. Employees are entitled to 2.0833 days of paid leave per month and 1 day of RTT (reduction of working time) for each complete month of work.
