Job Overview:

The role entails a 50:50 split in work allocation between the two pillars, allowing the intern to gain comprehensive experience in donor relations and EU partnerships. The intern will assist in building relationships with donors, managing financial resources, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements. Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will have a range of responsibilities within both the Bilateral Donors Pillar and the EU Partnerships. In the Bilateral Donors Pillar, the intern will review projects, ensure compliance with processes, manage financial expenditures, and maintain fund databases. They will also be responsible for donor reporting, ensuring that all reports meet donor requirements and are of high quality. Additionally, the intern will support event management for annual Fund Assemblies and provide administrative support as needed. In the EU Partnerships, the intern will assist in managing EU funds, track disbursements, facilitate agreements, and support financial management tasks. They will also prepare materials for governance meetings and handle data requests related to EU funds.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a graduate qualification (Masters) in fields such as International Development, Public Policy, Economics, Finance, or Statistics. They should demonstrate excellent quantitative skills and the ability to interpret technical and financial information. A strong interest in development finance and international relations is essential. The ideal candidate will have fluency in English, both written and verbal, and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team environment. Attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and the capacity to prioritize tasks are also critical. Experience in managing large datasets and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, are required. Familiarity with data analytics software and statistical analysis is desirable.

Educational Background:
A graduate qualification (Masters) in relevant fields such as International Development, Public Policy, Economics, Finance, or Statistics is required for this internship position.
