Job Overview:
The Head of Digital Workplace Services will play a pivotal role within the Executive Directorate, specifically in the Digital, Knowledge and Information Service (EXD/DKI). This position involves leading a team responsible for delivering secure digital solutions and IT services that meet the needs of business partners while supporting the OECD's global mission. The role encompasses managing a range of digital workplace services, including IT Service Desk operations, device engineering, and local equipment management. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with service delivery procedures and processes, thereby enhancing the organization's ability to communicate effectively with governments and influence policy-making. This position requires a strategic approach to managing digital workplace services and fostering collaboration across various teams to ensure that the services provided align with corporate requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Head of Digital Workplace Services include performing contract management for outsourced end-user support services, ensuring compliance with service level agreements, and collecting feedback for operational governance. The role also involves assuring the quality and cost-effectiveness of digital workplace services, managing the inventory of corporate equipment, and coordinating IT support for key corporate events. Additionally, the candidate will manage relationships with third-party suppliers, provide regular management reporting, and lead a team of approximately 10 staff members. The position requires active participation in the management of the DKI/DIO Division, including budget preparation and continuous improvement of practices, while staying updated on industry trends and technologies.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate should possess an advanced university degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field, or have equivalent practical experience. A thorough understanding of IT project management methodologies and industry frameworks is essential, along with relevant certifications. The candidate must have at least eight years of experience in managing large, complex IT service delivery projects, including their implementation and support activities. Proven expertise in procuring and managing services, along with extensive experience in delivering effective digital workplace services, is required. The candidate should also have experience in guiding and developing diverse staff within a matrixed organizational structure and advising on digital strategy and IT trends.

Educational Background:
Candidates must have an advanced university degree in information technology, business administration, or a related field. Equivalent practical experience may also be considered. A strong knowledge of IT project management methodologies and industry frameworks is necessary, ideally supported by relevant certifications.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of eight years of experience in managing large-scale IT service delivery projects, including their implementation, production, and support. Candidates should have substantial experience in managing and delivering digital workplace services and guiding diverse teams in a complex organizational environment. Experience in an international and cross-cultural setting is preferred, as it aligns with the OECD's global mission.

Languages:
Fluency in one of the two OECD official languages, English and French, is mandatory, with a commitment to achieving a good working level in the other language. Knowledge of additional languages would be considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to operate in a diverse international environment.

The position offers an open-ended contract with a closing date for applications set for 16th March 2025 at 23h59 Paris time. The monthly salary starts at 10,511.13 EUR, with additional allowances based on eligibility and exempt from French income tax.
