Job Overview:
The position of Electoral Advisor (Logistics and Operations) involves providing logistical planning and management support for the electoral operations scheduled for 2024-2025 in the Central African Republic. The advisor will work closely with the National Election Authority (ANE) to ensure the successful preparation and organization of transparent, credible, and inclusive municipal and regional elections. This role emphasizes the importance of participation from women, youth, and vulnerable groups in the electoral process. The advisor will also contribute to the implementation of the Political Agreement for Peace and Reconciliation in the Central African Republic, which was negotiated in Khartoum and signed in February 201

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Electoral Advisor include:
  • Providing logistical planning and management for the electoral operations at the local level, ensuring that the ANE is well-supported in its responsibilities.
  • Assisting the ANE in developing deployment plans and collecting electoral materials at the prefectural level.
  • Contributing to the establishment of structures and tools for monitoring and managing deployed electoral materials.
  • Advising and proactively participating in the implementation of electoral logistics decisions, ensuring that tasks are completed on time.
  • Participating in the drafting of various reports for the Division to the Mission support.
  • Liaising between electoral authorities and the logistics support section of MINUSCA.
  • Assisting in planning the deployment of materials to prefectures and monitoring warehouse management.
  • Performing any other tasks as requested by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
