Job Overview:
The internship program at the IAEA is designed to provide students and recent graduates with practical work experience that aligns with their academic studies or interests. Interns will gain exposure to the operations of the IAEA and the broader United Nations system. The internship typically lasts between three months and one year, allowing interns to contribute to the IAEA's programs while developing their professional skills. The intern will specifically support the Central Information Security Group within the Division of Information Technology, focusing on information security awareness and education initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will work under the guidance of the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) within the MTIT-CISG. Key responsibilities include assisting in the development of content and curriculum related to information security topics, contributing to the creative design and content for the internal website dedicated to Information Security Awareness, preparing and potentially delivering training courses and supporting materials in various formats (both online and in-person), and conducting basic data analysis related to security awareness campaigns, such as attendance tracking and phishing test results. The intern may also be assigned additional tasks as required by the team.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in Information Technology or a related field. Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Microsoft 365 tools (Teams, SharePoint) is essential. Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills are required, along with a keen attention to detail. Familiarity with risk management and project management principles is considered an asset.

Educational Background:
Applicants must be at least 20 years old and have completed a minimum of three years of full-time university studies towards a first degree. Candidates who have recently graduated (within one year) from a bachelor's, master's, or doctorate program are also eligible to apply. It is important to note that candidates must not have previously participated in the IAEA's internship program.

Experience:
While specific prior work experience is not mandated, candidates should demonstrate relevant academic knowledge and skills acquired through their studies. The internship is aimed at individuals who are in the process of completing their education or have recently graduated, thus emphasizing the importance of academic experience over professional experience.

Languages:
